My 3 passions

Sell Art Online      I have many passions I enjoy as part of my everyday life: appreciating and photographing life's simple elements, enjoying the indulgence of fruit, and partaking in poetry. These three choices together enrich my psychie.

I learn to cherish life's natural elements and its simplicities in every form. I possess an overwhelming surge of pleasure when I watch the sun's job of rising and setting. I find joy in watching the rippling tides, filigreed by the sun's rays, crash against the lining of the beach. I share with you that it's just stomething as simple as waking up in the morning, having the sun spray me with ribbons of golden happiness, and feeling the earth's morning breath sweep upon my soul. Whether it appeases my senses with the smell of coffee in the morning or the samplings of sweet frangrances in a local candle shop, I take it all in with extreme satisfaction. My body becomes relaxed and my spirit has an overwhelming appreciation for the sights that my eyes conceive. I become aligned with heaven's path.

It may seem overrated to find eating fruit a passion, but I feel its rewards are truly inviting. I have a grand time savoring the pleasing liquid of apples, peaches, plums, nectarines, cherries, and even watermelon. Having no shame in my preferences, I am succumbed by variety and everything each fruit has to offer. Also, with the textures melting away in a cool spread over my spoiled tastebuds, I become a prisoner of my own imaginary fruit kingdom where I lock myself in and throw away the key.

Reading and writing poetry help me release everyday pressures. I use my poetic talent to not only express my joviality, but to exterminate any unwanted rubble clouding my judgement and opinions. My ability to reach into my soul for inner cleansing helps assure me of promising resolutions and restores my admirable livelihood. My poetry illustrates, in great wonders, the power of what I feel. Taken in by the fabrication of my fantasy world, I apt to sit back and let my mind and heart reach a satisfactory completion.

With each passing passion, I learn more about my interests and treasure the effects it  has on my life. I am sure that I will discover new passions as I continue to live. However, for this moment, these are three of my many passions that I enjoy.

PF Chang's

I ate out at PF Chang's with a friend this past weekend. The food was delicious. This restaurant is located in downtown Providence, Rhode Island in the mall complex. It is a perfect location for tourist when they visit. They are going to get really good business during the Waterfire Celebrations Providence hosts a few times a year. For those of you who don't know what Waterfire is....it is when art lovers or hopeless romantics from all over come through to watch the gondolas pass in the Providence River, visit local art museums and galleries, sit outside and dine at fine restaurants, etc. So since PF Chang's establishment arrived, I think it will add some extra cuisine to the already fabulous selections downtown. I grew to love PF Chang's for the first time when I visited Atlantic City, New Jersey. I went there many times when I lived in New Jersey and still frequent it now that I live in Rhode Island. I can't get enough of AC....

Rise and Shine

This was my breakfast this morning. I got tired of the traditional bagel or the two slices of white toast with peanut butter that seemed to become the norm. I was in the market early in the morning looking for a change; a new flavor to stimulate my palate and at the same time fill my body with essential vitamins and minerals. I'm not so ready to jump buildings in single bounds but this good choice of breakfast helped me tackle my eventful day. I will just leave the tall leaps and metal bending for Clark Kent (S-man).

Helping Out the Next Guy!

I won't provide any visuals on today's blog. I just wanted to keep it anonymous. I helped out a stranger today. I was amongst a group of able bodies who could have extended a hand but ignored the choice. It wasn't a major issue but I felt the need to act. I visited a government office today. It was a rainy day. Since the building was not yet open a line of rain-drenched people stood out in front, waiting feverishly to be let inside. I saw this line from afar as I parked my vehicle. My vehicle was warm and acted as a great shield from the rain. Most people had umbrellas or wore hoodied jackets. I guess they were as prepared for the rain than they will ever be. However, what caught my attention was a gentlemen hovering on the other side of the doors. He chose to cower on the other side of the building to avoid the wet wind that flowed from behind the backs of those who waited in line. He wore no jacket and he had no umbrella. At first, I almost mumbled to myself, "How...
