Super Cinnamon Pancake w/ fruit & Eggs

Today, I made my two boys pancakes with extra scoops of cinnamon (hence the brownness in color). I only photographed one of the plates. One sweetie pie had boiled eggs and the other had scrambled. Both plates had a few slices of pan-seared salami that served as beds for the halved boiled eggs on one of the plates.

I wanted to try a different fruit combination for the sides. They usually get strawberries or orange slices to accompany their pancakes. Today, I sliced kiwis and bananas. It gave it a sorta 'Prince' feel and they felt like royalty.

What they did next was sprinkle powdered sugar over the pancakes and drizzle lots of maple syrup. Hey, to each his own.

No pancakes for me. But, it was not a complete lost. I only grabbed scrambled eggs with kiwi and bananas and  two slices of pan seared salami and one slice of buttered toast. Ooh wee!

So we are welcoming the Fall season in with these dark colors and a nice centerpiece for the table.

My Cracker Jack

Hey, remember this wonderful snack? Cracker Jack . Wow. I remember when I was a kid. This snack came in a small rectangular shaped box. There was always a prize inside. Well, this bag says that you have a chance to win a diamond. All you have to do is open the bag. Needless to say, I wasn't a winner because if I was a winner, I would have started this blog off with (Whoopie!!). Well, my bag only contained a little insert with information on Susan B. Anthony. Okay. Nice. She was the nice lady on the front of golden dollars issued by the mint a few years back. I guess it will come in handy when my son does his next research report. So, to recap, I had a nice snack and learned something new at the same time.

Christmas Escapades

After my job's Christmas party, I traveled to Connecticut because I just needed to spend a little more time. So, my time was spent at Foxwoods casino. No, I know what you're thinking. I gambled and lost my shirt. On the contrary, I only spent around $15 dollars because I was there for the ride. My friend had some gambling credit and it made for a good time. It was a good picture taking moment. Besides, the holiday is upon us. What kind if mom would I be if I gambled the kids toys away. Lol.
