Eye Design

I'm really digging the way this model painted her eyes. This is going on my list if things to do. This eyeshot was noticed in Oprah Winfrey's 'O' Magazine- Holiday Issue. Yep, I was back in the dentist and looked through the magazine again. I can't help it. It was so colorful and it took my mind off of what was coming up (the dentist's drill gun) Aaargh!! I have to do some eyeliner shopping. Eyeliner makeup is the most used tool in facial design for me. I do not use any foundation since it feels like it clogs my pours. I'm sure there are products that are light and airy to use. This is where you come in! You can drop a line to recommend products. I am usually an eyeliner, eyeshadow, and lip balm type of girl. Colors make me smile.

My Cracker Jack

Hey, remember this wonderful snack? Cracker Jack . Wow. I remember when I was a kid. This snack came in a small rectangular shaped box. There was always a prize inside. Well, this bag says that you have a chance to win a diamond. All you have to do is open the bag. Needless to say, I wasn't a winner because if I was a winner, I would have started this blog off with (Whoopie!!). Well, my bag only contained a little insert with information on Susan B. Anthony. Okay. Nice. She was the nice lady on the front of golden dollars issued by the mint a few years back. I guess it will come in handy when my son does his next research report. So, to recap, I had a nice snack and learned something new at the same time.

Helping Out the Next Guy!

I won't provide any visuals on today's blog. I just wanted to keep it anonymous. I helped out a stranger today. I was amongst a group of able bodies who could have extended a hand but ignored the choice. It wasn't a major issue but I felt the need to act. I visited a government office today. It was a rainy day. Since the building was not yet open a line of rain-drenched people stood out in front, waiting feverishly to be let inside. I saw this line from afar as I parked my vehicle. My vehicle was warm and acted as a great shield from the rain. Most people had umbrellas or wore hoodied jackets. I guess they were as prepared for the rain than they will ever be. However, what caught my attention was a gentlemen hovering on the other side of the doors. He chose to cower on the other side of the building to avoid the wet wind that flowed from behind the backs of those who waited in line. He wore no jacket and he had no umbrella. At first, I almost mumbled to myself, "How...

Rise and Shine

This was my breakfast this morning. I got tired of the traditional bagel or the two slices of white toast with peanut butter that seemed to become the norm. I was in the market early in the morning looking for a change; a new flavor to stimulate my palate and at the same time fill my body with essential vitamins and minerals. I'm not so ready to jump buildings in single bounds but this good choice of breakfast helped me tackle my eventful day. I will just leave the tall leaps and metal bending for Clark Kent (S-man).
